BREAKING: Wike and El-Rufai are among the 28 ministers nominated by Tinubu

Tinubu submitted the names of his ministerial nominees for confirmation to the Senate.President Bola Tinubu has officially released his cabinet list, putting a stop to weeks of speculation and excitement.The President requested approval of 28 ministerial nominations into his cabinet in a letter delivered to the Senate during plenary on Thursday, July 27, 2023, by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila. Godswill Akpabio, Senate President, read the letter aloud on the floor of the red chamber. Former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike made the list, along with the immediate past governors of Kaduna, Jigawa, and Ebonyi States, Nasir El-Rufai, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, and Senator David Umahi, respectively. Tinubu also upgraded two of his Special Advisers, Dele Alake and Bar Hannatu Musawa, to ministerial status, while his longtime ally, Wale Edun, and legal luminary, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), also got on the list.Below is the full list of nominees that made it into Tinubu's ministerial list; Abubakar Momoh, Arch.
