SDP candidate for governor in Ogun resigns in favor of PDP candidate, Adebutu
Prior to the March 18 election, the Social Democratic Party's (SDP) Tony Ojeshina, who was running for governor of Ogun, resigned in favor of Ladi Adebutu of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). This was said by Ojeshina on Thursday in Abeokuta at a press conference. He claims that the alliance between the SDP and PDP will bring about prosperity for the populace, based on the aspirational goal of making Ogun a model state for entrepreneurship in Nigeria. He mentioned that all of the SDP candidates for the state House of Assembly are still running in the March 18 election.
