Suspension of Max Air won’t affect transportation of pilgrims – NAHCON

According to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority's (NCAA) interim suspension of Max Air domestic flights will not disrupt the continued transportation of Nigerian pilgrims back home.Malam Mousa Ubandawaki, the commission's Deputy Director of Information and Publication, made the explanation in a statement issued on Thursday in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Max Air is one of the Nigerian airlines that the Federal Government has cleared to carry 16,326 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia and return after the 2023 hajj rite. Ubandawaki stated that the explanation was required to reassure pilgrims and families back home that the suspension order was confined to maximum air domestic flights.
