Tinubu accepts NEMA's return to the VP's office, overturning Buhari-era policy

Since being sworn in on May 29, the new president has made a number of changes.In accordance with their respective establishment Acts, President Bola Tinubu has approved the repatriation of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to the Office of the Vice President for supervision.The president also authorized the repatriation of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to the Vice President's Office. Olusola Abiola, Director of Information in the Vice President's Office, made the announcement on Tuesday in Abuja. Furthermore, Tinubu established a formal structure for the Vice President's Office, as well as a suitable number of technical and administrative aides to assist the vice president in carrying out his obligations.
